THE Bees are going high-tech in their quest for a fourth straight victory at the polls. With election fever expected to intensify with the nomination of Deputy Prime Minister Mia Mottley in St. Michael North East, followed next week by that of Prime Minster Owen Arthur in St. Peter, the ruling Barbados Labour Party (BLP) has relaunched its website and promised a General Election campaign never before seen in Barbados whenever the bell is rung. While Arthur is yet to announce a General Election date, Mottley on Saturday said her nomination as the final St. Michael candidate at the Lawrence T. Gay Memorial Primary signalled the launch of the BLPs battle to maintain its dominance in that parish. A sheriff's spokesman has just confirmed that two of the people who died in the shooting were Jeffrey Blixt, 45, who lived in the home, and his son Matthew Blixt, 17, who did not live in the home. They have not formally released the identity of the others yet. Instead, they have identified them only as a 34-year-old woman and two 15-year-old girls.
